About Kayam Farm
Kayam Farm sits on 4 acres of cropland and includes one additional acre of animal pasture. We cultivate the land to organically grow vegetables, fruit trees, grape vines, berries, grains, herbs, and flowers; we also raise animals and cultivate mushrooms. We grow year-round in two high tunnels (greenhouses), and maintain several educational gardens Our produce serves members in our Community Supported Agriculture program, the Pearlstone kitchen, local farmers markets, restaurants and local charities. We practice and promote many ancient agricultural farming systems, and use their teachings as inspiration for establishing sustainable agriculture and just food systems in today’s world.
